We only have 2-3 litters of kittens per year, which can be reserved between 6 and 8 weeks old and go home at 12 weeks old. We are very selective when it comes to the families that adopt our kittens. Please fill out the questionnaire to see if you qualify!

At Nana’s Ragdolls, we are a small mother-daughter in home cattery located in Central Texas. We only have 2-3 planned litters of kittens per year and each kitten is hand raised and thoroughly spoiled. We specialize in raising TICA registered Ragdoll Kittens and prioritize their genetic health and temperament. Our cats undergo Wisdom Panel Genetic testing to ensure they are healthy and free from currently understood genetic faults. We take pride in hand delivering between Dallas and Austin and our Ragdoll kittens are known for their soft and fluffy fur, calm temperament, and compatibility with kids and dogs.

About Me Raising these beautiful Ragdolls has been quite an adventure! I knew for years this was what I wanted to do, but I also knew I wanted to do it with the best interest of the fur-babies in mind. There are some very ethical breeders and then there are those who are not as concerned with the long-term welfare of their adopted kittens and cats as they should be. Thankfully I have the full support of my husband and my mom because it really does ‘take a village’! My mom houses my females who are not ready to breed so there are no ‘oops’ matings, and my husband builds all of the crazy cool cat things we see on Instagram and Pinterest for me! And we have many friends that love to help us socialize our kittens by interacting with them and holding them. In general our cats roam free through the house and when necessary to be separated (such as a new mama with her kittens or daddy from his babies) they are rotated out of their room multiple times a day for human interaction and variety.
I have always loved animals, and started raising pedigree Netherland Dwarf rabbits when I was a teenager. I then raised AKC Pomeranians. I had one goal. To make sure the homes they went to were the absolute best homes. I would even physically go to a person’s home before I would agree to let them have one of my Pom puppies to verify it was a good home. I met my first Ragdoll at a friends house in Texas. I was amazed at those penetrating blue eyes and their laid back personality.
Most of my life I have had dogs, ferrets or cats strictly as beloved fur-babies, not as a breeder. I have learned so much about their unique personalities over the years! No one pet is the same as another. That is true of Ragdolls as well. They do have a specific temperament that is incredibly unique as a breed, but that does not make each one the same! Much of their long term disposition is formed in the first 12 weeks of life and by their mothers disposition. Our desire is to breed healthy, gentle Ragdolls with DNA testing to rule out any known health concerns. Though they are gentle giants as adults, they are playful, energetic kittens who tend to be very smart, so kitten-proofing your home is a must!
