Frequently Asked Question’s
The cost for all kittens is $1500 or $2800 for two. This is only as a pet as we do not currently offer breeding rights. Final payment minus the deposit can be paid via Venmo or Zelle and is due on the day before pick up prior to travel.
While each breeder must do what is right for them, we are trying to keep our standards at a very high level without charging more than is absolutely necessary at this time. The costs of age-appropriate medical care, high-quality food, possible C-sections or other emergencies, etc, do add up. And it is possible in the future we will not be able to keep our price at $1500 per kitten. However we are also relatively new to this endeavor and striving to building a solid online reputation, so it seems prudent to keep the cost lower to begin with.
We do not currently offer breeding rights.
We are very interested in who becomes a forever home for a Nana’s Ragdoll, so we have a Kitten Application that needs to be filled out before we get started with the adoption process. After a kitten application is approved a video call will be scheduled. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to be placed on the waiting list. Pet kitten spots are allocated in order of receipt of deposit. I do take into consideration whether or not you have a particular color/pattern in mind, as well as the personality type. I feel that all of my kittens are sweet and cuddly, however, some are naturally more outgoing and/or energetic than others.
Our home is literally designed around our love for cats. From cat wheels to automatic litter boxes to indoor jungle gyms they have the best toys we can afford, including the cardboard boxes the toys come in of course. Our kittens are adaptable and like to try new things because we are constantly enriching their environment! It takes 5 months for each litter from the time we arrange a mating to the kittens ‘Go Home Day’. Mom gets the best nutrition and lots of individual attention. During the time the kittens are growing we help them get ready for their new homes by making sure they are litter trained, healthy, playful, and adaptable to changes in their environment. They will be used to various types of litter and litter boxes. Consistent grooming, bathing and nail clipping are all part of the routine. And we are constantly improving our methods based on feedback from new owners and other breeders in our network.
Ragdoll cats should be kept indoors for many reasons, one of which is their docile and trusting nature, which makes them poorly equipped to handle the dangers of the outdoors, including other animals, traffic, and unfamiliar environments. Even though Ragdolls have claws, due to their trusting nature, they might not recognize potential dangers, making them vulnerable to predators. You have to remember they are very expensive cats, its likely to be taken by someone if not attacked by a predator. That being said there are now wonderful options for outdoor enclosures that may provide enough protection while allowing fresh air. These Enclosures or ‘Catios’ are a great option if you are concerned about the need to be outdoors.
Another reason is that your kitten will be vaccinated against many common threats but FEL-V (Feline Leukemia) is not one of them. You should not give a FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) vaccine to a Ragdoll cat, especially if it is strictly an indoor cat, because the risk of contracting FeLV is very low for indoor cats, and studies show that the potential side effects of the vaccine may outweigh the benefits in such cases.
Indoor cats tend to live longer than outdoor cats because they’re protected from many of the risks that come with living outside, such as predators, car accidents, and exposure to poison. Therefore our contract is non-negotiable when it comes to this!
We rely heavily on the advice of our Veterinarian who is most concerned about the long-term health and hormone growth of our kittens. She does not recommend early spay and neuter and neither will she perform it. Spaying and Neutering is mandatory by 6-10 months of age in order to receive your TICA Registration papers.

This is a painful topic for me because there was a time when I didn’t know any better and had this done to a beautiful cat. (To be fair I was a teenager but still) When I found out what declawing really is I was shocked and appalled. This is not just a minor thing. Please watch this video to understand what I mean. Also I have found that with my Ragdolls in particular they are not prone to scratching furniture so it has never been an issue.
